As Vietnam deepens its global economic integration, achieving green building certifications like LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) has become a critical gateway for textile manufacturers to access major export markets.

Reflecting this trend, the Tainan Factory—a large-scale facility with 32 production lines in Long An province—required an advanced building envelope solution to meet its stringent green building goals, with a key focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.

To meet these requirements, NS BlueScope delivered a comprehensive solution featuring COLORBOND® steel in Off White, a color with a high Solar Reflectance Index (SRI). This high-performance material was integrated into LYSAGHT® roofing and walling systems. This not only provides a modern and sustainable aesthetic but also directly contributes to the project’s green objectives by reducing energy consumption for cooling and mitigating the urban heat island (UHI) effect, positioning the Tainan Factory as a benchmark for sustainable manufacturing facilities.
