Thai Lee Foods is a leading Thai producer of fresh coconut milk and coconut water, exporting over 80% of its output to demanding markets in the Americas and Europe. The company's large-scale production facility in Samut Songkhram covers an area of over 45,000 square meters.
As an international-standard food processing plant with critical components like cold storage, the project required a comprehensive building envelope solution. The chosen materials needed to meet strict criteria for energy efficiency and environmental sustainability to ensure product quality, reduce operating costs, and align with global standards.
To meet these requirements, approximately 80,000 square meters of COLORBOND® steel were selected for the facility's roofing and walling systems. Due to its excellent heat-reflective properties, the material reduces energy consumption by limiting heat absorption into the building. This is especially crucial for the insulated panels in the cold storage areas, helping to maintain stable temperatures and affirming Thai Lee Foods' commitment to building a sustainable and energy-efficient factory.
